This N64 RGB Upgrade service will bring new life to your vintage console.

We will install the high quality RetroFixes N64 RGB Amp and improve pixel clarity.  When the N64 is upgraded to RGB it produces the best analog picture possible. The upgrade is internal and the outer shell will not be altered.

Why Upgrade the N64 to RGB?

Composite video is fuzzy and introduces lag on modern TVs.  With the increasing popularity of high-definition displays, the old composite video output can feel outdated.  Our upgrade addresses this issue by providing an RGB option that ensures you get the best picture quality possible when combined with an upscaler.   The N64 RGB upgrade service is not just an upgrade; it's a n investment.

How Does It Work?

When you send your N64 console for our services, RetroFixes will carefully install the RGB video amp and inspect the system.  This upgrade process is handled with the utmost care and expertise. After the upgrade, your console will be tested thoroughly and shipped back to you.

Deluxe Service:

The latest RetroFixes RGB amp will be professional installed

Console Shell cleaned and faded plastic restored.

Optional LED color change and Region unlock for JP games.  Please let us know if you want these optional items.  Leave a note in your checkout cart.

Important:   The RGB service is only for N64 consoles with serial numbers starting with NS1 not NS2, NS3 etc. The motherboard must have a chip that reads “VDC-NUS”  There is always a chance that the motherboard of your N64 have been swapped.  Another easy method of checking  is to open your N64 and look at the motherboard revision.  Look for this code above the cartridge slot:  NUS-CPU-01, 02, 03, or 04.

Incredible

I got my RGB. Being a collector and a 90's kid, preserving consoles as well maxing out their full capability is what I strive for reliving the "golden" days of gaming. Craftsmanship is wonderful and my games look even better on my PVM. Seriously. Thank you so much! I am one happy dude.

Thank you! I'm happy to hear that.

Got my original N64 cleaned and upgraded. Very happy with the results. The console works so much better than it did before. It took a little over 4 weeks to have the work done and for it to be shipped back, so keep that in mind while you're waiting.
