Console Compatibility:
Our N64RGB is compatible with the following US and JP serial numbers. NS1XXXXXXXX or NUJ1XXXXXXX. No other models are compatible.
Cable Compatibility:
This upgrade is designed to output TTL, making it compatible with most CSYNC Scart cables. Make sure your scart cable is configured to accept TTL. Examples of compatible scart cables can be found at retro-access, insurrection industries and many other vendors. Also works perfectly with the HD Retrovision Component Video Cable

The RGB mod is excellent! It was fairly easy to install and the colors are bright and vibrant. The text on the N64 games seems noticeably sharp, especially in Zelda games.Not a huge upgrade over high quality S-video cables but worth it if you want the best possible quality without doing an HDMI mod.Price and ease makes this a must buy for N64 enthusiasts.
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to install. It doesn’t require super strong soldering skills. Just follow the instructions. I'm using HD Retrovision SNES component cables to simplify my setup (8 consoles hooked up to a gComp switch). Now I don’t need to use s-video.
RGB looks cleaner, colors look more vibrant.
Easy enough install, even for a first soldering project.
